May I pay with a credit card?
Yes. We accept credit card transactions with a $5 minimum.
Are there booster seats for smaller individuals?
No, but you may bring a booster seat with you.
Where are restrooms located?
Restrooms are located on the first floor by the emergency exit doors (southern most location). There are 2 restrooms on the second floor in the mezzanine.
What is the capacity of The Michigan Theatre of Jackson?
We have 1158 seats. Our legal capacity is 1226.
May I bring outside food or drinks?
No outside food or drinks are allowed.
Does The Michigan Theatre of Jackson have a drinking fountain?
No, we do not, but bottled water is available for purchase.

Where can I park when I attend an event at The Michigan Theatre of Jackson?
After 5:00 pm (and on weekends), individuals may park anywhere in the downtown area. Before 5:00 pm, individuals may park in adjacent city lots, BUT DO NOT PARK IN THE COUNTY PARKING LOT LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE THEATER.
How much does it cost to attend a movie at The Michigan Theatre of Jackson?
For most films offered in the evening, the cost is $5. There are many films that are free. The summer series films, sponsored by Kiwanis of Jackson, are $1. At times throughout the year we offer FREE MEMBERSHIP MOVIES (FOR MEMBERS).
Does The Michigan Theatre of Jackson have its own sound system?
